Gwinnett County police are waiting for two men, expected to turn themselves in Thursday night. The two are allegedly clients of one of the two women charged with prostitution at the Sugarloaf subdivision.
Police have charged both men with pandering. They say that they are both accused of giving money to defendant Nicole Probert, in exchange for sex. The men are 32-year-old Daniel Marfione, who the warrant says lives on Ellijay Drive in Atlanta’s Brookhaven neighborhood, and 56-year-old Alexander Ryder of Barrett Lake Boulevard in Kennesaw.
They are expected to turn themselves into the Gwinnett County Jail and post $3,000 bond.
Meanwhile, Probert’s accused partner-in-crime, Lisa Ann Taylor, has retained well-known attorney Max Richardson to represent her in the case.
Richardson met with Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter on Thursday. Richardson says one of his top priorities is getting Taylor’s seized Chevrolet Corvette and SUV back.
“She’s stranded at this point in time,” said Richardson. “She’s without transportation, she can’t move about. She’s without equipment.”
Richardson says he sees no evidence that Taylor, who uses the stage name Melissa Wolf, is a prostitute.
“She dances,” Richardson said. “She’s a dancer. She strips, she’s done that for a living all her life. She’s been the centerfold in Penthouse, and that’s how she’s earned her popularity.”
Richardson says the allegations of prostitution don’t seem to be hurting Taylor’s career one bit.
“She’s probably more popular now than she’s been for a long, long time,” said Richardson.
Taylor is charged with prostitution and racketeering as well as running a house of prostitution out of her million-dollar home in the Sugarloaf golf community. Richardson lives in Sugarloaf as well, and says community reaction to Taylor’s arrest has been mixed.
“On one hand, it’s probably good attention,” said Richardson. “We’ve got some houses that probably need to be sold in the neighborhood. I think it’s going to raise the awareness of Sugarloaf at this point in time, and I think there’s others who probably feel it’s unwarranted.”
While she awaits the Grand Jury’s decision, Lisa Taylor says she plans to keep on working. She says she has appearances booked at adult clubs in the near future, both in Ontario and in Detroit. She says she’s receiving a lot of support from the community and from her own neighborhood.
